本句型是议论文中预测措施实施结果的句型，当然也可以用在书信等文体的恰当语境中。dependent意为“由…决定的”。如:
    The company is dependent on government financial help.这家公司依靠政府的财政援助。
本句型在替换的时候需要注意:介词on与动词depend以及它的形容词dependent是固定搭配，因而不能随意替换成其他介词。此外，介词on的后面应该接名词或者名词性短语。
