Chapter27 WITHnogreatereventsthantheseintheLongbournfamily,andotherwisediversifiedbylittlebeyondthewalkstoMeryton,sometimesdirtyandsometimescold,didJanuaryandFebruarypassaway.MarchwastotakeElizabethtoHunsford.Shehadnotatfirstthoughtveryseriouslyofgoingthither;butCharlotte,shesoonfound,wasdependingontheplan,andshegraduallylearnedtoconsideritherselfwithgreaterpleasureaswellasgreatercertainty.AbsencehadincreasedherdesireofseeingCharlotteagain,andweakenedherdisgustofMr.Collins.Therewasnoveltyinthescheme;andas,withsuchamotherandsuchuncompanionablesisters,homecouldnotbefaultless,alittlechangewasnotunwelcomeforitsownsake.ThejourneywouldmoreovergiveherapeepatJane;and,inshort,asthetimedrewnear,shewouldhavebeenverysorryforanydelay.Everything,however,wentonsmoothly,andwasfinallysettledaccordingtoCharlotte'sfirstsketch.ShewastoaccompanySirWilliamandhisseconddaughter.TheimprovementofspendinganightinLondonwasaddedintime,andtheplanbecameperfectasplancouldbe.
